I made my post about five months ago, saying I’d be back at it a bit with this shop, very slowly. It’s definitely been slowly, but has been happening behind the scenes (see that new menu item up there with the drop down?). I actually just need to finish a very few things, one of those being the shipping dimensions on each item which is incredibly annoying and my most hated part of running an online shop.
No, that’s a lie, promotion is my least hated part (which is why I don’t plan to do it), but shipping is a close second.
Having said that about shoppy type things, I’ve also been enjoying what has been a really lovely summer. August is always a bit bittersweet for me; the garden is starting to (finally) really produce and I get to literally see the fruits of my labour. But I know time is drawing short for our summer. By the end of August there’ll be that definite nip in the air in the mornings, and by September and into October the leaves are bright yellow, and I’m packing up the garden for the summer.
But so far, it’s been lovely and I’m trying not to get too forlorn about it before it’s really time. We have a solid 4-6 weeks left of summer (or summer-type) weather and I plan to fully live in the moment with those weeks.
I’m hoping within the next few weeks to have everything go live on this shop. We’ll see, it entirely depends on how much time I’m willing to spend in front of the computer, which is not a lot during summer.
