After almost two years, here I am, bringing Dominion Fleece back to life. It’s a different kind of life, and doesn’t centre around Alberta grown and processed wool anymore (although you may occasionally find that pop up, as it’s still near and dear to my heart).
It does centre around my own projects; the majority of which is quilting and dyeing at this juncture in my life. I honestly didn’t think I’d be reviving this shop at all, but I kept it around, so I guess I was leaving the door open.
I currently have items listed in Quilted Things, Starburst Bags, and Pocket Pouches. Other things in other categories will crop up as I make them.
It seems kinda silly to open a shop during a tariff war, one which I think will make my bags be taxed at 40% for my friends down south. The Quilted Things I can label as art, and there is no tax on those. Hopefully they don’t get stopped by a customs person who likes to dictate what art is. I have no idea what’s going to happen at the border though.
I also currently only have my shop set up to sell in Canada, the United States, the UK, and Ireland. If you live in another part of the world, please contact me. The only reason why I haven’t set up more countries, is since I’m not really doing any promotion, I don’t think there’ll be exactly a giant run on my stuff. But I am happy to sell in other parts of the world should anybody really want something.
To those of you who happened upon here, thanks for looking. For those of you who buy any of these things that these two hands of mine has made, it means the world to me that these items will find a new home with somebody who will love and use them.
